CorkCredit is the reputation system we always wanted — one that rewards the people who make corkboard.social a better place. Every reaction on your boards, every upvote on your comments, every new follower now feeds a single, transparent score: your 🍄.

The tiers

• Sprout (0 🍄) — everyone starts here
• Pinner (50 🍄) — you can create a community
• Corker (250 🍄) — downvote perk unlocked
• Curator (1,000 🍄) — auto-approve submissions
• Legend (5,000 🍄) — moderator eligibility

Where it shows up

Karma appears on your profile, in comments, on your board owner card, and in the new /settings/karma dashboard where you can see every event that ever earned or lost you a mushroom.

Why we built it

Reputation should push good behaviour, not gamify it. CorkCredit favours slow, honest contribution: a board that keeps getting reactions weeks later is worth far more than a quick spike. Sockpuppets get filtered out, self-votes are ignored, and every event is auditable in the ledger.
