A board should feel alive when people are on it. This week we shipped two features that make that literal.
Presence bar
When someone opens your board, their avatar joins the presence bar at the top. Move the cursor, they'll see it. It's the difference between "did anyone see this?" and "three people are looking at it right now".
Live reactions
Tap a reaction and it floats across every viewer's screen in real time — the same way TikTok lives feel electric. Reactions are batched to stay smooth even with dozens of concurrent viewers.
Why it matters
Bulletin boards were social objects long before the internet — you'd walk past one and see who'd been by. Presence and live reactions bring that back for the digital version. It's subtle, but once you have it, silent boards feel oddly empty.
